How it started...

Our story begins in July 1968, when Benjamin and Betty Rodriguez immigrated from Zacatecas to United States. They brought with them their love of family, food and hard work. With this the opportunity of starting their own business led them to purchase their first restaurant in 1972, El Pollo Lico Restaurant in Wilmington, CA. The continued success of this restaurant opened up a new door for them to venture & takeover a sit down restaurant in 1985, Las Palmas Restaurant in Carson, Ca

Las Palmas has been established since 1964 with offering only ten array of dishes & the famous homemade dressing. Ben & Betty expanded the menu to forty different combinations of tacos, enchiladas, chile rellenos dishes & introduced steak & shrimp platters, homemade soups & seafood cocktails with success. Our homemade Chile Verde Pork is a customer's favorite.

All of our food is prepared in our kitchen by our cooks daily, giving you an authentic homemade Mexican meal & our homemade dressing has remain a constant in our menu.

Las Palmas Restaurant is currently running under second generation & we hope to continue for many generations to come. Las Palmas has been recognized as one of the area’s longest serving Mexican restaurant. We could not exist today without your continued patronage!
